… Custom Designs!
Two of my most recent projects were custom designs for my aunt and my grandmother, which I finished today.
My aunt wanted a pair of eyeglass holders that were a little more personal and perhaps even a little more glamorous than what you might normally find. Her requests beyond that were pretty open so I took the color scheme she gave me (pink… or blue… or green… or any color you like, really) and this is what I came up with.
I made this special order with a mix of rose and white colored crystals, lovely coral colored gemstone chips, clear glass beads, and freshwater pearls with a light pink tint. (Those sunglasses would be new my Vera Bradley’s 🙂 )
The second custom order was a necklace for my grandmother. She wanted something that was elegant but could stand out and make statement. We started with a classic choice of freshwater pearls with gold colored crystals. Then my grandmother found some very bold and unique pieces she wanted to incorporate along with some beautiful, bright crystals. I added some basic clear glass beads and some light blue gemstone chips. The rest was up to my imagination. Here is the finished product:
